Mixed Media Collection

I haven't drawn with any seriousness since 2009. I chose to focus on photography instead, so imagine my surprise in 2026 when I decided to give it another try.

This is when the idea to mix painting/drawing and photography came to mind. It was a time in my life when I had given up and was overwhelmed with disillusionment. Sometimes, we need moments like that to reach our full potential. All the images found here were taken by me, printed on felt paper and painted with either acrylic, watercolor or ink, sometimes all three.

A whirlwind year. Working in Mexico, starting new chapters in my life, ending others. There aren't a lot of paintings from this year, but I think they're a good representation of what I was going through.

This was the year that my painting, and mixed media art really came into focus. I knew what I wanted to do and I went for it. One of my proudest artistic years.

Being stuck at home with fuck else to do pushed me to create.

The photos I paint, aren't always my most recent ones. Sometimes I'll go through my endless catalogue of images and rediscover old favorites.

This year was full of creative mojo.

My trans awakening! yay! Had to go through some tough shit this year, learned more about myself than I was even aware of.

I took a break from the 11x14 paintings to focus on large scale collages that mix my photos, cut-out manga panels and hand painting.
